Comparison of Moto Z4, Hasselblad True Zoom and Nikon D7000
As an amateur photographer, I enjoy using at least 3 different cameras. My Moto Z4, Hasselblad True Zoom and Nikon D7000.
My Moto Z4 is my daily driver, and a great phone to have. My Hasselblad True Zoom is a Moto Mod that attaches to the back of any Moto Z series phone with telephoto. My Nikon D7000 is a DSLR that is a really great camera. I can use multiple lenses and select from many different automatic and manual settings on it. I decided to take photos using all three cameras and compare them. While no Moto Mod or smartphone can match the capability of a DSLR, they can sure take great photos!

These day lilies were photographed with all 3 cameras. Out of the 3 cameras used, the Hasselblad True Zoom took the best photo. It brought out the detail in the water droplets that were on the day lilies, after a rainstorm. The second best photo was with the Nikon D7000, but the green was not brought out as well as the photo from the Mod. The Moto Z4 camera surprisingly did not perform as well, but it does excel with other subjects.

For these photos of the tall grass in the sky, Nikon D7000 performed the best, with Moto Z4 performing second, and Hasselblad True Zoom performing third. Moto Z4 has more advanced hardware than the Hasselblad True Zoom, but all 3 cameras perform well.

This pond is one of my favorite places to visit on my many long walks. This time, the best camera for this photo was the Hasselblad True Zoom. It brought out so much vibrance in the greens and made for a beautiful photo.

This path is my favorite one to walk on during my walks. The Nikon D7000 took the most vibrant photo with a great amount of clarity. Performing almost as well, Moto Z4 did a great job and the color quality and clarity was very close to the Nikon D7000. However, the Hasselblad True Zoom did not perform as well, and the colors seemed to be less vibrant.
With the Nikon being a DSLR, most of the time, it will have higher quality than a smartphone or a Moto Mod. DSLR's have special hardware and many lenses to choose from to allow for more advanced photography than most cameras. In second place is my Moto Z4. The Moto Z4 has excellent camera hardware, including Quad Pixel Technology. The Hasselblad True Zoom placed third, but still did a great job and is a great alternative to my DSLR when I do not have it with me. I can zoom in up to 120mm on the Hasselblad True Zoom, which allows me to still have telephoto when I do not have access to my Nikon D7000.
