Moto Z, Moto Z Force and Moto Z Play DROID get updated to Nougat 7.1.1

Verizon is on a roll-a, literally! Today, all Moto Z DROID phones and the newest Moto Z2 Play are getting updated to the newest Android versions, as reported per Droid Life.

This includes the Moto Z DROID, Moto Z Force DROID and Moto Z Play DROID. All these devices are getting the newest Android version, Nougat 7.1.1, which adds several UI improvements on Google's side, plus also adds some Motorola improvements like a new rounded icons menu.

On top of all of this, these Motos are getting Google's July security patch, which makes these phones be up to date with Google's security schedule. Many Android lovers care about these improvements.

Oh, the Moto Z2 Play was shown some love too. This phone is getting July's patch, though it already shipped with 7.1.1 Nougat.
