Moto Z gets Nougat 7.1.1
The Moto Z was released in July, 2016. The phone is the current modular flagship, and it was released along the Moto Z Play and Moto Z Force. It was launched with Android 6.0 and then got updated later in 2016 to Nougat 7.0, but that won't be its last update, as it is now getting Nougat 7.1.
The device reportedly got Android 7.1.1, Google's latest Nougat version. According to Louie Chan/TechDroider, some users are getting the update right now, so it's a matter of days until everyone gets the update.
The update brings some enhancements on top of new round icons that Motorola introduced with their latest Z2 Play and Moto E4 devices.
If you own a Z, you should be getting it right now, so go check your Moto!
