This is the Moto TABLET that was never released
Another day, another old gem found! This is a Moto concept from five or six years ago, called the Motorola WIFI Tablet, or at least that was the project name.
In many ways, this looks like a Motorola Xoom 2, right? The square edges, the boxy design and the overall feeling makes it look like it. In terms of specs, we know very little from it, but we will try to figure out its specs from the next pic. Take a look.
It would have been released with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, the first Android version designed for tablets. Motorola was actually the first OEM to ship a tablet with Honeycomb back in 2011.
Apart from that, some of the pictures mention 7" and 10" screen sizes and the ability to communicate and share media across all your connected devices in your home through the cloud. This was something Motorola had been working for a while before Google sold its Home business in late 2012.

The pictures also mention a Smart Key that would let you mute the sound, or change the volume of the device by a simple swipe. Sounds cool. We haven't seen anything like that before. A top speaker is also shown while it's mentioned that it would be Motorola's most affordable tablet ever.
Awesome, isn't it? Let us know what you think in our social media pages and stay tuned for more awesome Moto stuff coming.
Thanks Motorola Fan "XF" for the tip!
