MOTOROLA FANS reached ONE MILLION visits!

Hello (moto),

I think this website reached quite a nice milestone. I launched it six months ago, without knowing Motorola would go back to being Motorola once again, without knowing we would lose part of our community in the middle of this and would have to start over from 0 on social media, and without really knowing if anyone would read this site.

But one thing was clear, I had to make a site with a great history section to share all the information about Motorola's iconic past I could share, and also talk about the other sides of Motorola (everything that isn't phones). 

At the time, I wanted to convince everyone (and myself) that the Motorola brand wasn't dead and that it would live through Motorola Solutions and Motorola Home while we could still enjoy the "Moto" products, and then I fell in love with writing articles and looking for interesting stories.

Things turned up quite nice for all of us fans. We got the Motorola brand, the full brand, to comeback. We also got great smartphones, home products and innovative services from all Motorolas out there.

I got to interview Martin Cooper. Also interviewed one of the biggest fans whose love for Motorola is helping her deal with her Autism. And I got to know great stories from fans from India, France, the US and Peru, just to name a few countries.

Yesterday, we reached ONE MILLION visits. Our fans website was visited one million times, whcih is crazy. Never thought it would reach this number at all. It proves how close we are as a fanbase and how much interest in the Motorola brand there's out there. 

And I do have to mention that all of this was with no support from Motorola Mobility (with the exception of only three regional social media accounts), which is weird since even Motorola Home and Motorola Solutions acknowledged and interacted with us since our website was launched, supporting our articles and tweets. Anyway, Motorola Mobility is still the one we love the most so we don't really care. And we always get great social media support from Motorola employees from all over the world! 

So thanks once again for all the support this website has received. And remember, this is an open community of fans and everyone is invited to be part of it and contribute to the fanbase.
